LET'S LAUGH
The Fresno State University Bulldogs. Not since cracksmokers.com was up and running have the missteps of this goofy entity been chronicled for the world to see. That will change starting now.
It's OK to go watch a Little League baseball game and see young kids thinking that their game is as important as the World Series. It's quite another for an entire community to watch mediocre, middle of the road college football and call it domination. Or to stand by idly while hoping to catch some pixie dust off of a 900-year-old basketball coach who will one day, inevitably, leave the school in shame and the program in disarray.
But that's just what they do in the central San Joaquin Valley. "Go Dogs!" You betcha. Root, root, root for the home team. But please, have the sense to understand what it is you're watching. That's all I ask.
Buckle up, sports fans. This is going to be fun.
